Hearts of Charity and Friends (HCF): Origin In Latin, the Heart is defined as the center, core or soul; the vital center and the source of one’s emotions and sensibilities. The Heart also represents the capacity for sympathy, generosity, courage with resolution and fortitude. It has an infinite capacity for compassion with deepest devotion to the body and the soul. This philosophy is the very essence of the Hearts of Charity Foundation.
Hearts of Charity and Friends is founded by individuals from all walks of life in 2007. We are composed of health professionals, engineers, teachers, students, business people, parents and friends. We all share a common goal: giving back to the community by extending our blessings and our given talents. Many of us come from a disadvantaged background and remember how somewhere along our struggles, an individual had reached out and had touched our lives through a random and single act of kindness. Fueled by the same spirit, we want to reach out and help vulnerable and underserved children in undeveloped nations.
Located in the United States, Hearts of Charity Foundation is a 501 (c) non-profit, non-denomination, and non-political organization devoted to enhance the quality of life in third world countries. Our goal is to help alleviate pain and suffering of orphans, the disabled, and the poor. Third world countries like Vietnam suffer from poverty and poor health care system. As a young organization, we are still in the early growth phase: creating awareness and developing a core of loyal supporters. As a non-profit organization, we make sure that your generous gifts fund our ongoing projects to aid less fortunate people on a more personal and intimate level.
